This month in Bastardo we have many plans for you and especially activities focused on Women's Day. In our hostel in Malasaña, we love art and crafts. With "Cometas Feministas" you will be able to participate to get your artistic side out. This workshop is for everyone between adults and young people over 16 years old.

Making a kite has its science. It's part of a century-old tradition that has been enjoyed by young and old alike, seeking to elevate more than just a piece of paper. Throwing a kite into the wind combines art and practice, which starts from its careful confection and feeds on the desire to put the product of our work at the top.

Parrot, papelote, volantín, as they call kites in different parts of the world, will be what we will learn to do in a very practical workshop led by Adriana Reina, Director of Mima Kahlo, accompanied by Susana Reina, Director of Feminismoinc.

In a couple of hours we will be able to know how to elaborate them, and at the same time, how to use them as a sensitizing instrument for the feminist cause, since these kites will carry messages alluding to women's human rights, which turns the kite into a vehicle for activism and gender awareness.

Both creatively unite to excite men and women of any age, who wish to acquire a playful competence and at the same time content, to contribute to the feminist movement.
